Orris root possess many medicinal properties, with the root either used along with various herbs to prepare medicines or individually as a tea. 

 Orris Root Tea

Ingredients:

• 1 teaspoon orris root powder
• 1 cup hot water
• Honey or lemon (optional)

Instructions:

1. Boil water and let it cool slightly.
2. Add orris root powder to a cup.
3. Pour hot water over the powder and stir well.
4. Let it steep for 5-10 minutes.
5. Strain the tea and add honey or lemon if desired.
6. Drink warm to aid digestion.

2. Orris Root Tooth Powder

Ingredients:

• 2 tablespoons orris root powder
• 1 tablespoon baking soda
• 1 tablespoon bentonite clay
• 1 teaspoon ground peppermint leaves (optional for flavour)

Instructions:

1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl until well combined.
2. Store the mixture in an airtight container.
3. To use, dip a damp toothbrush into the powder and brush your teeth as usual.
